Beth Sholom Lifecare Community is proud to announce and welcome Morris “Mo” S. Funk as our new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Funk comes to Beth Sholom with over 20 years of experience in the senior living and health care industry. Most recently, Mr. Funk was the President and owner of Senior Living Innovations Group, a strategic consulting firm specializing in senior living. Prior to Senior Innovations Group, Mr. Funk served as the CEO of Lions Gate, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Voorhees, NJ. During his tenure, he managed staff, operations, healthcare marketing, asset management and expansion projects. At Beth Sholom his role is to manage and direct housing, healthcare, staff, organizational objectives, sales, and set governing policies for the entire operation. Mr. Funk also works with the Board of Directors to further and promote Beth Sholom’s mission to serve the Jewish senior housing and healthcare community.
His impressive background in healthcare also includes positions as a senior vice president, consultant, regional vice president and community administrator. Mr. Funk is a seasoned Senior Healthcare professional, with a career that spans over two decades.

Mr. Funk holds a B.S. in Health Services Administration from Florida International University in Miami. He recently relocated from Florida with his wife, Mindy. They are the parents of a son, Jonathan, who is an Industrial Operations Engineer in Florida.
